Dilapidated American Ramp Company Skate Park

This is a photo of a small portion of an American Ramp Company installation in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The steel and wooden ramps are only a few years old, but through normal use, the structures have begun to show substantial wear and tear.

This product was sold to the City of Tulsa with a 10+ year warranty, but this warranty requires significant regular maintenance on the part of the purchaser, lest any claims be refused. The City of Tulsa will be required to repair this damage at its own expense.

It would be wise for any visitor to this facility to receive tetanus shots prior to skating on these ramps. There are many sharp, rusty metal edges that may cause abrasions or lacerations. If a wound is caused by rusty metal, it is possible for the recipient to develop a case of lock-jaw.
